GoldMine Tips & Tricks

Here are a few Tips & Tricks to help you get more out of your GoldMine system:

1. Toggle your search between Primary and Additional contacts quickly

This is helpful if you are looking for a specific person, but you don't know if the person is a primary or additional contact.
1. Open the Contact Search Center.
2. Use the shortcut keys Alt+P to search for a Primary contact and Alt+O (Other contact) to search for an Additional contact

2. Organize open GoldMine windows

Do you sometimes misplace your Main Contact Screen or other GoldMine windows when you have multiple windows open? All of your open windows can be arranged in a cascade format so you can find all of your windows.
1. From the GoldMine Main Menu, select Window | Cascade

Note: If you use this feature frequently, you might want to add it to your GoldMine taskbar for a "one button" selection of this feature.

3. Quickly navigate between GoldMine tabs on the Contact Screen

Do you want to go quickly to your GoldMine tabs on the main Contact Screen without using your mouse? Simply use one of these Control Key and letter combinations:
1. Ctrl+S = Summary Tab
2. Ctrl+N = Notes Tab
3. Ctrl+C = Additional Contacts Tab
4. Ctrl+D = Details Tab
5. Ctrl+P = Pending Tab
6. Ctrl+H = History Tab
7. Ctrl+Y = Opportunity Tab
8. Ctrl+J = Projects Tab
9. Ctrl+L = Links Tab
10. Ctrl+F = Fields Tab
11. Ctrl+R = Referrals Tab
